January 25, 2025: Flandreau, SD 57028 Omaha Nation Chiefs (Macy, NE) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Flandreau Indian Indians (Flandreau, SD), 71-21 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Omaha Nation advances its record to 13-5 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD) to face the Chiefs in a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. The Chiefs enter the match with a record of 0-10.
The Indians now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santee for a non-league match on Monday, January 27. Flandreau Indian will face a Warriors squad coming off a 55-39 non-league win over Marty Indian (Marty, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 9-4.
