Kansas High School Basketball - Great Bend overwhelms Junction City
January 25, 2025: Junction City, KS 66441 The Great Bend Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Junction City Bluejays to 25 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas More Prep-Marian for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Great Bend will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 49-41 league win over Russell (Russell, KS). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Junction City falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Derby (Derby, KS) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 8-1.
