Illinois High School Basketball - Illinois Math & Science Academy can't hold off Harvard
January 25, 2025: Aurora, IL 60506 Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans (Aurora, IL), 32-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Harvard advances its record to 11-11 on the year. The Hornets host Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL) to face the Thunder in a Kishwaukee River match on Monday, January 27. The Thunder enter the match with a record of 4-14. Woodstock North lost 52-29 in their recent league match against Plano (Plano, IL)
The Titans now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willows Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Illinois Math & Science Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 61-32 non-league win over Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 17-6.
