The Marion Warriors basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Herington Railroaders to 34 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Warriors now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Ell-Saline for a Heart of America game on Tuesday, January 28. Marion will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 0-0 non-league Central Christian (Hutchinson, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Herington falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Railroaders travel to Little River (Little River, KS) to confront the Redskins in a Wheat State game on Monday, January 27. The Redskins go into the game with a record of 12-0. Little River won 67-53 in their recent non-league game against Inman (Inman, KS)
