Alabama High School Basketball - Hoover bests Holy Innocents Episcopal
January 25, 2025: Hoover, AL 35244 The Hoover Buccaneers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears to 54 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Buccaneers now possess a 24-4 record. They play next when they host Spain Park for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Hoover will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 59-32 league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 13-15.
With the loss, Holy Innocents Episcopal falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Lovett (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Lions in a AA Region 5 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Lions go into the game with a record of 13-5. Lovett won 60-36 in their recent non-league game against Atlanta International (Atlanta, GA)
