January 25, 2025: Northwood, IA 50459 Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Northwood-Kensett Vikings (Northwood, IA), 61-31 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lake Mills advances its record to 9-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-15. Eagle Grove lost 62-17 in their recent league match against Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA)
The Vikings now own a 0-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Hancock for a non-league match on Monday, January 27. Northwood-Kensett will face a Eagles squad coming off a 48-35 non-league loss to North Union (Armstrong, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-10.
