Kansas High School Basketball - Sabetha victorious over Paola
January 25, 2025: Sabetha, KS 66534 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Sabetha Bluejays basketball team scored a good 52-43 triumph over the Paola Panthers.
The Bluejays (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS). The Cyclones go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] topped Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS), 35-22, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Bonner Springs Braves (Bonner Springs, KS) in a Frontier challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Paola will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 63-47 non-league loss to Liberal (Liberal, KS).
