New York High School Basketball - Susquehanna Valley defeats Waverly
January 25, 2025: Waverly, NY 14892 The Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Conklin, NY) basketball were winner over the host Waverly Wolverines (Waverly, NY), 52-32 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Sabers now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Chenango Forks for a bout on Saturday, February 1. Susquehanna Valley will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 57-20 non-league win over Sherburne-Earlville (Sherburne, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Waverly falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Owego Free Academy (Owego, NY) to play the River Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. The River Hawks go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Owego Free Academy lost 63-12 in their recent non-league bout against Susquehanna Valley (Conklin, NY)
