January 25, 2025: Wood River Junction, RI 02894 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) and the host Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI), witnessed Cranston West's ice hockey team nip Chariho by a final score of 5-4.
The Falcons (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Chieftains come into the Division 2 challenge with a 9-4 record.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Chariho will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
