January 25, 2025: Petoskey, MI 49770 In Saturday's non-league test, the Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) ice hockey squad tipped the host Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI), by a tally of 3-2.
Next, the Eagles face the Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 30. Lakeland will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 5-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Calumet (Calumet, MI).
The Northmen (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI). The Titans come into the Great Northern test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Traverse City West nudged Cadillac (Cadillac, MI), 3-1, in a league test.
