January 25, 2025: New Lenox, IL 60451 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) and the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL), observed Lincoln-Way Central's basketball team edge Thornton Fractional South by a margin of 55-53.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Lemont HS come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Lemont edged Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL), 65-36, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Wolves battle the Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Thornton Fractional South will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record.
