With the victory, Portales upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Rams host Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to face the Pintos in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Pintos enter the match with a record of 1-5. Moriarty lost 65-24 in their recent non-league match against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM)
The Wildcats now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cobre for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30.
