January 25, 2025: Cecilia, LA 70517 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Cecilia Bulldogs (Cecilia, LA) and the visiting Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA), saw Cecilia's soccer squad hold off Episcopal of Acadiana by a score of 2-1.
The Bulldogs (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA). The Tigers enter the Division III District 4 battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, St. Martinville was edged by Erath (Erath, LA), 8-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Falcons confront the Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) in a Division IV District 3 battle, on Monday, January 27. Episcopal of Acadiana will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 8-0 league win over Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA).
