Conestoga Valley Buckskins (Lancaster, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA), 45-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Conestoga Valley upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Buckskins host Exeter Township (Reading, PA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Exeter Township won 48-35 in their recent league bout against Wilson (West Lawn, PA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Octorara Area Braves (Atglen, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Cocalico will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 65-60 league win over Donegal (Mt. Joy, PA).
