Wisconsin High School Basketball - Luther overwhelms Cochrane-Fountain City
January 26, 2023: Onalaska, WI 54650 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Luther Knights (Onalaska, WI) and the visiting Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates (Fountain City, WI), saw Luther's basketball squad wallop Cochrane-Fountain City by a tally of 72-38.
With the victory, Luther improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Black River Falls (Black River Falls, WI) to play the Tigers in a Coulee challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Black River Falls lost 94-61 in their recent league challenge against West Salem (West Salem, WI)
Next up, the Pirates play the Viroqua Blackhawks (Viroqua, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. Cochrane-Fountain City will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 47-37 league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, WI).
