The Cornerstone Academy Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and held the host First Christian Lions to 54 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to First Coast Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3.

The Lions (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Gainesville Christian Community (Gainesville, FL). The Warriors enter the Southeastern Christian contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Gainesville Christian Community nudged First Assembly Christian Academy (Ocala, FL), 58-42, in a league contest.
