Connecticut High School Basketball - Hand can't hold off Guilford
January 26, 2023: Guilford, CT 06437 The Guilford Grizzlies basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Hand Tigers to 42 in the Grizzlies league victory on Thursday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillhouse for a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset contest on Tuesday, January 31. Guilford will battle a Academics team coming off a 72-60 non-league loss to Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT). The Academics record now stands at 9-3.
The Tigers (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Haven (North Haven, CT). The Nighthawks come into the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset contest with a 7-6 record.
