Martin County Tigers (Stuart, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Vero Beach Indians (Vero Beach, FL), 55-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Martin County upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to South Fork (Stuart, FL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 13-6. South Fork won 50-45 in their recent non-league bout against John Carroll Catholic (Fort Pierce, FL)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Eau Gallie Commodores (Melbourne, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Vero Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Commodores go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 58-47 non-league loss to Port St. Lucie (Port St. Lucie, FL).
