Connecticut High School Basketball - Southington crushes Simsbury
January 26, 2023: Southington, CT 06489 Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT), 63-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Southington upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Blue Knights host Platt (Meriden, CT) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Platt won 73-47 in their recent non-league bout against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT)
Next up, the Trojans play the Hall Titans (West Hartford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Simsbury will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 59-52 non-league loss to New London (New London, CT).
