Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Joseph Regional Green Knights (Montvale, NJ) and the visiting Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ), saw St. Joseph Regional's basketball squad hold off Wayne Valley by a tally of 52-49.

With the victory, St. Joseph Regional improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Green Knights host Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ) to confront the Ironmen in a Big North - United challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a record of 18-2.
