Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), 38-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Watseka upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Salt Fork (Sidell, IL) to clash with the Storm in a Vermilion Valley bout on Monday, January 30. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Salt Fork won 51-19 in their recent league bout against Iroquois West (Gilman, IL)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Urbana University Illineks (Urbana, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record. The Illineks go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 48-26 league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL).
