New Jersey High School Basketball - Bayonne trounces Eastside
January 26, 2023: Bayonne, NJ 07002 The Bayonne Bees (Bayonne, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Eastside Ghosts (Paterson, NJ), 73-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bees (17-2) will now prepare for their test against Union City (Union City, NJ). The Soaring Eagles go into the Hudson County - American test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Union City walloped Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ), 62-14, in a league test.
The Ghosts now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to DePaul Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, January 28. Eastside will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 44-18 non-league win over Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-11.
