New York High School Basketball - Churchville-Chili knocked off by East
January 26, 2023: Rochester, NY 14609 The East Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Churchville-Chili Saints to 43 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilson Magnet/Early College International for a Section 5 Rochester City Catholic contest on Monday, January 30. East will battle a team coming off a 38-34 non-league win over Young Women's College Prep (Rochester, NY). The record now stands at 1-1.
The Saints (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fairport (Fairport, NY). The Red Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Fairport ran past Victor (Victor, NY), 48-45, in a league contest.
