The Columbus Sailors basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Crestwood Cadets to 32 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sailors now sport a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winfield-Mt. Union for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Columbus will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 64-8 league win over Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Wolves record now stands at 16-0.

Next up, the Cadets play the Charles City Comets (Charles City, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Crestwood will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 46-30 non-league win over North Butler (Greene, IA).
