January 26, 2023: Santa Fe, NM The Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM) basketball knocked off the host Santa Fe Prep/Santa Fe Waldorf (Santa Fe, NM), 42-29 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Coyotes (6-9) will now prepare for their test against East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Timberwolves go into the 3A District 5 test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, East Mountain notched a victory over Bosque (Albuquerque, NM), 35-33, in a league test.
The now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Jemez Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, January 28. Santa Fe Prep/Santa Fe Waldorf will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 47-34 league win over Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 11-8.
