New Jersey High School Basketball - Cresskill topped by Westwood
January 26, 2023: Washington Township, NJ 07676 The Westwood Cardinals basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Cresskill Cougars to 26 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Immaculate Heart Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Westwood will battle a Blue Eagles team coming off a 59-28 league win over DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 15-2.
The Cougars (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Emerson (Emerson, NJ). The Cavaliers come into the Olympic - American contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Emerson prevailed over New Milford (New Milford, NJ), 49-38, in a non-league contest.
