Wisconsin High School Basketball - Oregon holds off Cuba City
January 26, 2023: Oregon, WI 53575 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Oregon Panthers (Oregon, WI) and the visiting Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI), saw Oregon's basketball squad hold off Cuba City by a tally of 53-47.
With the victory, Oregon improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI) to confront the Eagles in a Badger - West challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Sauk Prairie won 59-35 in their recent league challenge against Monroe (Monroe, WI)
Next up, the Cubans confront the Boscobel Bulldogs (Boscobel, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge, on Friday, January 27. Cuba City will attempt to improve on its 16-1 season record.
