January 26, 2023: Country Club Hills, IL 60478 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) and the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), saw Evergreen Park's basketball squad hold off Hillcrest by a tally of 37-33.
With the victory, Evergreen Park improves its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-16. Chicago Christian won 57-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL)
Next up, the Hawks play the Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL) in a South Suburban - Blue challenge, on Monday, January 30. Hillcrest will attempt to improve on its 12-15 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 8-14 record after their 82-18 league loss to Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL).
