The Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Ramsey Rams (Ramsey, NJ), 58-55 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cutters (9-7) will now prepare for their test against NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ). The Golden Knights go into the non-league test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, NV - Old Tappan got by Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ), 60-50, in a league test.

The Rams now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Waldwick/Midland Park for a non-league test on Saturday, January 28. Ramsey will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 65-9 non-league win over Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 11-3.
