Indiana High School Basketball - Riverton Parke crushes Fountain Central

January 26, 2023: Montezuma, IN 47862

Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN), 49-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Riverton Parke upgrades its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to South Putnam (Greencastle, IN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-14. South Putnam lost 45-33 in their recent non-league bout against Speedway (Speedway, IN)

Next up, the Mustangs play the North Vermillion Falcons (Cayuga, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Fountain Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 9-14 record after their 43-36 non-league loss to West Vigo (West Terre Haute, IN).
