Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO) and the visiting Grand Junction Tigers (Grand Junction, CO), saw Glenwood Springs's basketball squad wallop Grand Junction by a tally of 54-10.

With the victory, Glenwood Springs improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Demons host Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO) to confront the Huskies in a 5A Western Slope challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Battle Mountain lost 56-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Basalt (Basalt, CO)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Fruita Monument Wildcats (Fruita, CO) in a 6A/5A Southwestern challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Grand Junction will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 30-28 league win over Durango (Durango, CO).
