Nebraska High School Basketball - Sedgwick County tops Perkins County

Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), 58-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sedgwick County upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Wiggins (Wiggins, CO) to play the Tigers in a 3A/2A Lower Platte bout on Friday, January 27. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Wiggins lost 31-30 in their recent non-league bout against Heritage Christian (Fort Collins, CO)

Next up, the Plainsmen play the Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Perkins County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record.
