Missouri High School Basketball - Aurora overwhelms Mt. Vernon
January 26, 2024: Aurora, MO 65605 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Aurora Houn Dawgs (Aurora, MO) and the visiting Mt. Vernon Mountaineers (Mt. Vernon, MO), saw Aurora's basketball squad wallop Mt. Vernon by a tally of 92-53.
With the victory, Aurora improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Houn Dawgs host Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO) to confront the Wildcats in a Big 8 challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-3.
Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Reeds Spring Wolves (Reeds Spring, MO) in a Big 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Mt. Vernon will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record.
