In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Castle Knights basketball team scored a tight 65-62 triumph over the Bloomington North Cougars.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Evansville Bosse Bulldogs (Evansville, IN) in a Southern Indiana match, on Thursday, February 1. Castle will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 11-9 record after their 63-59 non-league win over Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN).

With the defeat, Bloomington North moves to 7-9 on the year. The Cougars travel to Columbus East (Columbus, IN) to meet the Olympians in a non-league match on Saturday, January 27.
