Kentucky High School Basketball - Henry County overwhelmed by Calloway County
January 26, 2024: Murray, KY 42071 The Calloway County Lakers basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the visiting Henry County Patriots to 57 in the Lakers non-league victory on Friday.
The Lakers now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Fellowship for a District 4 contest on Monday, January 29. Calloway County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 71-51 non-league win over Foundation Christian Academy (Bowling Green, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-12.
The Patriots (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Dickson County (Dickson, TN). The Cougars come into the 4A District 14 contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Dickson County triumphed over Waverly Central (Waverly, TN), 93-43, in a non-league contest.
