January 26, 2024: Huntsville, TN 37756 The Clinton Dragons basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Scott Highlanders to 55 in the Dragons league victory on Friday.
The Dragons now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gibbs for a 3A District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Clinton will battle a Eagles team coming off a 69-63 league win over Anderson County (Clinton, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 10-11.
The Highlanders (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Anderson County (Clinton, TN). The Mavericks come into the 3A District 4 contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Anderson County was defeated by Gibbs (Corryton, TN), 69-63, in a league contest.
