Utah High School Basketball - Freedom Prep Academy ripped by Escalante

January 26, 2024: Provo, UT 84601

The Escalante Moquis basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Freedom Prep Academy Eagles to 40 in the Moquis non-league triumph on Friday.

The Moquis now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Escalante will battle a Marauders team coming off a 90-53 league loss to Rockwell (Eagle Mountain, UT). The Marauders record now stands at 7-8.

The Eagles (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Intermountain Christian (Salt Lake City, UT). The Lions enter the 2A Region 16 contest with a 3-10 record.
