January 26, 2024: Camilla, GA 31730 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Georgia Christian Generals (Valdosta, GA) and the host Westwood Wildcats (Camilla, GA), saw Georgia Christian's basketball squad hold off Westwood by a tally of 72-65.
With the victory, Georgia Christian improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Atkinson County (Pearson, GA) to play the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Atkinson County lost 63-61 in their recent league challenge against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Fullington Academy Trojans (Pinehurst, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Westwood will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 50-44 league win over Highland Christian Academy (Valdosta, GA).
