The Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting South Heart Eagles to 36 in the Black Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Black Devils now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washburn for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Hettinger/Scranton will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 78-50 non-league win over New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-4.

Next up, the Eagles play the Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] Bulldogs (Bowman, ND) in a B District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. South Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
