Virginia High School Basketball - James River Midlothian overwhelms Richmond City School of the Arts
January 26, 2024: Midlothian, VA 23113 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) and the visiting Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA), saw James River Midlothian's basketball squad wallop Richmond City School of the Arts by a tally of 73-45.
With the victory, James River Midlothian improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Rapids travel to Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA) to confront the Springers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Springers come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Highland Springs won 64-63 in their recent league challenge against Armstrong (Richmond, VA)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Richmond City School of the Arts will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 79-49 non-league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
