Kansas High School Basketball - Northeast crushes Yates Center
January 26, 2024: Yates Center, KS 66783 Northeast Vikings (Arma, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Yates Center Wildcats (Yates Center, KS), 56-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Northeast upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Vikings travel to Jayhawk Linn (Mound City, KS) to play the Jayhawks in a Three Rivers bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Jayhawks go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Jayhawk Linn lost 55-48 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast (Cherokee, KS)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Oswego Indians (Oswego, KS) in a Three Rivers bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Yates Center will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 53-41 league loss to Crest (Colony, KS).
