January 26, 2024: Sewickley, PA 15143 The Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball crushed the host Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA), 56-35 in Friday's league test.
The Flames (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Bishop Canevin walloped Nazareth Prep (Pittsburgh, PA), 48-45, in a league test.
The now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Aliquippa for a WPIAL 2A 1 test on Tuesday, January 30. Sewickley Academy will encounter a Quips squad coming off a 47-43 non-league win over Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Quips record now stands at 13-4.
