In Friday's league outing, the Southern Wells Raiders (Poneto, IN) basketball squad edged the host South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN), by a margin of 37-36.

The Raiders (4-10) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeland Christian Academy (Winona Lake, IN). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 1-12 record. In their last outing, Lakeland Christian Academy was tipped by Argos (Argos, IN), 62-50, in a league outing.

The Starfires now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Whitko for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. South Adams will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-59 league win over Peru (Peru, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-3.
