Missouri High School Basketball - West County nips Valle Catholic
January 26, 2024: Leadwood, MO 63601 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West County Bulldogs (Leadwood, MO) and the visiting Valle Catholic Warriors (Ste. Genevieve, MO), saw West County's basketball squad hold off Valle Catholic by a count of 62-58.
With the victory, West County upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bismarck (Bismarck, MO) to play the Indians in a Mineral Area - Small challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Bismarck lost 73-55 in their recent league challenge against Valley (Caledonia, MO)
Next up, the Warriors play the Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Valle Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 75-44 non-league loss to Malden (Malden, MO).
