Massachusetts High School Basketball - Haverhill tops Chelmsford
January 26, 2024: Haverhill, MA 01832 Haverhill Hillies (Haverhill, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Chelmsford Lions (North Chelmsford, MA), 58-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Haverhill upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Hillies travel to Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 28. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Central Catholic won 51-48 in their recent league bout against North Andover (North Andover, MA)
Next up, the Lions play the Billerica Memorial Indians (Billerica, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Chelmsford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 58-53 non-league win over North Andover (North Andover, MA).
