Minnesota High School Basketball - Sauk Centre tops Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa
January 26, 2024: Sauk Centre, MN 56378 Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN), 76-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sauk Centre upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Mainstreeters host West Central Area (Barrett, MN) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 12-6. West Central Area lost 60-54 in their recent non-league bout against Paynesville (Paynesville, MN)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Kimball Cubs (Kimball, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Cubs come into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 60-47 league loss to Royalton (Royalton, MN).
