January 26, 2024: Covington, KY 41014 The Holmes Bulldogs basketball team (Covington, KY), was overwhelmed 69-18 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY)
The Mustangs now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newport Central Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 27. Bishop Brossart will battle a Thoroughbreds team coming off a 69-35 league win over Newport (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 13-6.
The Bulldogs (2-20) will now prepare for their battle against Paris (Paris, KY). The Greyhounds come into the non-league battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Paris trounced West Carter (Olive Hill, KY), 60-52, in a non-league battle.
