The Cherryvale Chargers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Bluestem Lions to 44 in the Chargers non-league victory on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Erie for a Tri-Valley contest on Tuesday, January 30. Cherryvale will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 47-18 league loss to Humboldt (Humboldt, KS). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-9.
