With the victory, Valley Center upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Halstead (Halstead, KS) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Halstead won 49-41 in their recent non-league bout against Circle (Towanda, KS)
