The Chief Paul Memorial Falcons basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Eek Cougars to 30 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewis Angapak for a 1A Alaska Coastal contest on Friday, January 26. Chief Paul Memorial will battle a Blue Jays team coming off a 46-32 league win over Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat (Quinhagak, AK). The Blue Jays record now stands at 7-0.
The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis Angapak (Tuntutuliak, AK). The Blue Jays enter the 1A Alaska Coastal contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, Lewis Angapak triumphed over Chief Paul Memorial (Kipnuk, AK), 56-39, in a league contest.
